The Town of Epsom, NH is seeking an experienced candidate for the full- time position of Finance Administrator. Epsom is located approximately 8 miles east of Concord. It is an SB2 town with an annual budget of 3.4M and a population of 4700.
The position of Finance Administrator is responsible for all accounting and finance functions including general ledger, budget, payroll, A/P, State and Federal reporting, audit, employee benefits administration and human resource functions. All duties are to be performed in accordance with NH Statutes and in compliance with GASB. The position works closely with the Town Clerk/Tax Collector, the Treasurer, and Board of Selectmen.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting or finance with a minimum of five years’ experience in municipal accounting. Experience with BMSI software and the DRA portal are a plus. The ability to work independently with accuracy, the exercise of good judgement and excellent communication skills are essential.
