The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for New Hampshire Hospital (NHH). The largest state agency in New Hampshire, DHHS employs approximately 2,700 people and maintains a total annual budget of approximately $2 billion. NHH is a 168- bed facility that provides acute, inpatient psychiatric services for children and adults needing active treatment and other essential supports within a continuum of community-based care.
The New Hampshire Hospital Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the development and execution of the hospital’s strategic financial initiatives. The right candidate will have experience developing annual budgets and in depth knowledge of health care revenue cycle. The Chief Financial Officer has responsibility and oversight for hospital finance, annual budget, monthly budget reports, revenue cycle and contracting with commercial payers. S/he must possess strong leadership abilities and have the skill set to build and develop a cohesive finance team. The Chief Financial Officer works collaboratively with finance leadership in DHHS to develop collective initiatives that meets the goals of both the Department and the hospital. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Leadership and have five years experience in health care finance.
