IT Security Officer (2019-01B)
The District of New Hampshire has an immediate opening for a permanent full-time IT Security Officer. The court has a robust and active IT Department and is looking to add an intelligent, creative, innovative, dynamic, versatile, industrious and independent worker to help implement the court's progressive vision and commitment to various information technologies. While accuracy and attention to detail are essential, equally important are strong interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to bring complex automated system problems to a successful resolution.
This position will perform professional work related to the management of information technology security policy, planning, development, implementation, training, and support for the court. The incumbent provides IT security and serves as a team lead to fulfill security objectives. The IT Security Officer pro-actively engages all users in security awareness and training activities to promote the appropriate use of best security practices. Secondary responsibilities include assisting the network administrator in the administration of the judiciary's information technology network by developing standards, recommending network infrastructure change, and participating in high-level and long-term design and analysis of the court's network systems. The candidate must be able to manage multiple priorities and projects, work well in a team environment, and work with limited supervision. A bachelor's degree or higher in the information technology field from an accredited institution and five years of professional IT security experience is preferred.
Full benefits are available with a starting salary range of CPS 28 $64,862 to $105,400, depending upon experience.
