Temporary Relocation Specialist
The principal role of this temporary position is to plan and execute a series of temporary moves involving relocating senior and/or disabled residents from one property, while it is being rehabilitated, and moving those who wish to return to the original property after rehabilitation.
Duties include meeting with each household, outlining options for relocation, maintaining a matrix of relocation options and managing all aspects of the physical move in accordance with approved relocation plans and in compliance with the Uniform Relocation Act.
The Specialist will create and maintain complete files on each resident being relocated, process and track all payments and reimbursements, schedule and track all moves, distribute correspondence, and maintain required documentation.
Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalency, a valid drivers license and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience in affordable housing, relocation activities, or real estate is highly preferred.
