The Office of the Provost at Franklin Pierce University is seeking an experienced individual for the position of Assistant to the Provost. Responsible for providing a wide range of high level support this role includes managing critical and ongoing daily office functions, coordinating projects and initiatives in the academic division, functioning as ‘point of contact’ for the initiatives and the University Provost office. In this role, the Assistant exercises considerable discretion and judgment when communicating with internal and external constituencies.
The ideal candidate will preferably have a master’s degree; however a bachelor’s degree and the equivalent additional years’ of experience may be substituted. Candidate must have a minimum of five years administrative experience in higher education, and be able to demonstrate experience in working with senior management. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. The candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills and must have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
