The Facilities Department of Franklin Pierce University has openings within the Environmental Services Department (cleaning) for all shifts. Technicians are responsible for all cleaning duties necessary for both the interior and exterior of all buildings on campus.
Assignments may include but are not limited to: cleaning in residence housing, administrative, classroom, and recreational/athletic buildings. These positions involve heavy lifting and strenuous physical activity so candidates must be able to lift objects up to 50 pounds. Familiarity with hazardous materials procedures preferred.
The successful applicants will have a high school diploma or GED. A minimum of one year of general cleaning experience is required, as well as knowledge and skills related to cleaning equipment and hazardous materials. Must have a clean and valid driver's license. All Technicians participate in a rotating on-call schedule requiring flexibility of hours while on-call.
