At our company headquarters, located in Ipswich, MA on the North Shore, we are looking for a Financial Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join the corporate finance team and help set the direction for our financial planning process. The ideal candidate will create process improvement and support their business partners by driving sound analytical support and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following areas:
- Execute monthly reporting and forecast analysis that facilitates business decisions
- Work closely with department heads to develop annual budgets, long-term plans (5yr), and monthly forecasts
- Prepare and distribute timely and insightful financial analysis to determine progress against budget and long-range plans
- Perform analysis that aids in the decision making process;Monitors monthly progress against budgets/targets and works with partners to ensure accountability
- Actively interprets and reviews monthly financial results with leaders, including variance analysis of current trends to understand potential risks and opportunities.
- Complete ad-hoc reporting and analytical support to broader finance and business teams
