Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the role of District Manager is responsible for the development of Store Managers, fostering a highly engaging in-store customer experience and maximizing sales growth across 13 stores in the New England Area.

The successful candidate will be key in contributing to the overall growth of company sales by inspiring, training and developing Store Leadership while retaining top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and profitability within your district while analyzing performance metrics and sharing actionable insights with your peer group.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train top talent while actively networking to build a strong talent pipeline across diverse markets.
  • Create an inspiring and engaging customer experience that drives loyalty and attracts new customers, emphasizing trend-focused strategies.
  • Lead with an entrepreneurial spirit, fostering innovative, out-of-the-box thinking across your team.
  • Conduct effective and regular store visits (virtual and in-person) with a focus on enhancing the customer experience and observing in-store selling behaviors.
  • Utilize sales and financial reports to know and manage the business effectively, setting and monitoring KPIs to ensure district success.
  • Act as a liaison between the Head Office Support Team and stores, ensuring seamless operations and the successful implementation of new and existing initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations to the National Sales Manager on strategic opportunities to drive sales and improve operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure the detailed execution of all company visual and operational standards
  • Champion product knowledge training to ensure staff expertise on the hottest trends and unique offerings.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel to all stores in your district and visit our Canadian Corporate Office as required.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • 3+ years of District Management experience with a specialty retailer, preferably mall-based.
  • Proven experience in driving results through metrics and KPIs, with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced ever changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to trends and launch innovative products effectively.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills.
