• Unit: 5 South - Labor & Delivery\n
• Start Date: November 3, 2025\n
• End Date: January 31, 2026\n
• Duration: 13-week contract\n
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (3:00 AM – 3:30 PM), 3 shifts/week\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Schedule: Every other weekend, rotating holidays\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Massachusetts RN license required\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience\n
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)\n
• Ability to complete all facility onboarding requirements (orientation, medication exam, fit test, health screenings, background checks, references, skills checklist, education verification)\n
• Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills\n

\n\nLabor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities\n

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to mothers and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit\n
• Monitor and assess patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery\n
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals\n
• Administer medications, IVs, and prescribed treatments\n
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care best practices\n
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety and clinical standards\n
