A full-time opportunity is available for an occupational therapist to provide direct therapy services in a K-12 school setting. This contract position spans the full 25/26 school year and is located in Manchester, NH. The role involves offering evaluation, intervention, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to support students developmental and educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students across grades K-12
- Conduct assessments, testing, and prepare detailed reports to determine student eligibility for services
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide recommendations for student support
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals within the educational environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school district policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in school settings
- Familiarity with K-12 student populations and related developmental challenges
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse team
- Knowledge of state and federal education regulations related to special education and therapy services
