About This Position We are seeking field teachers to help with field trips and in-school programs at Broad Meadow Brook and Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuaries. Our field trip programs engage students in kindergarten through high school in hikes and nature exploration at our sanctuaries.  Requirements

<li>Prioritizes child safety and emphasizes both physical and emotional well-being with children, parents, and early education staff.</li>
<li>Utilizes positive and constructive methods of child guidance and ensures all staff do the same.</li>
<li>Adheres to the rules, regulations, and procedures set by the YMCA of Greater Boston, the branch location, and the Department of Early Education and Care, as applicable.</li>
<li>Supervises children and manages smooth transitions to promote safety and positive behavior.</li>
<li>Collaborates with the Site Director in program space design and maintains facilities and supplies.</li>
<li>Assists the Site Director with assessments, including progress reports, parent surveys, and program self-assessment.</li>
<li>Provides children with a well-balanced curriculum of planned learning experiences to support their social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development.</li>
