Warde Senior Living in Windham, NH is looking for a part-time Community Driver to join our team. The Community Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of senior living residents using a 7–14 passenger vehicle for scheduled outings, appointments, shopping trips, and community activities as well as assisting residents entering and exiting the vehicle and with baggage. PT hours need to be flexible 20-24 hours per week. No weekend requirement.

We also have 21 brand new independent living apartments that provide an affordable living option to our community. Responsibilities:

· Safely operate a 7–14 passenger vehicle to transport residents to appointments, group activities, and other destinations, following all traffic laws, safety regulations, and CCNH policies.

· Ensure vehicles are ready for use, including performing safety checks, verifying first aid supplies, and maintaining updated resident emergency information sheets.

· Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle, ensuring proper use of seatbelts, mobility aids, and other safety measures.

· Provide assistance with baggage as needed.

· Enforce safety rules during transport.

· Collect and deliver necessary paperwork for resident appointments to appropriate staff.

· Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections; promptly report maintenance or safety concerns to management.

· Maintain accurate transportation records, including trip logs, mileage, and incident reports.

· Service vehicles with fuel, oil, and other fluids as required; maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions inside vehicles.

· Follow infection control and health/safety protocols, including proper sanitizing of vehicle surfaces.


Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Minimum of three (3) years of professional driving experience.

· Valid New Hampshire driver’s license with a clean driving record.

· Must meet all state and federal requirements for operating a 7–14 passenger vehicle.

Prior experience transporting seniors or individuals with mobility challenges preferred.
