A Truck Driver plays a critical role in promoting roadway safety and supporting the communities we serve. If you are a motivated, safety-focused driver with a strong track record, customer oriented and commitment to on-time, accurate delivery, you will be an excellent fit for this role.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Proof of work authorization
- Valid Commercial Driver's License and a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Must have a clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret maps and GPS navigation systems.
- Strong understanding of transportation management and warehousing processes.
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and to load and unload cargo as needed.
Requirements:
- Have at least 1 years of box truck driving experience.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and transportation management software.
- Prior experience working in logistics or supply chain environments.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks, in a safe, compliant, and professional manner at all times
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, company safety policies.
- Follow all traffic rules and regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trips inspection to ensure vehicle readiness and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Plan and manage routes efficiently, using navigation tools to meet scheduled delivery times.
- Transport freight securely and accurately, ensuring all materials are handled with care to support customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with dispatcher, your manager or the warehouse teams to ensure smooth loading and unloading operations.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including Bill of Lading, and electronic logs
- Uphold company values of professionalism, courtesy, and quality.

The required skills such as truck driving and knowledge of DOT regulations are essential for operating commercial vehicles safely and legally on a daily basis. The ability to read maps and use GPS technology ensures efficient route planning and timely deliveries.
