DB Encryption Engineer
1)Evaluating Data Sensitivity and selecting appropriate encryption algorithms and key management strategies based on business needs.
2) Designing encryption solutions for various database platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, NOSQL) including key rotation and lifecycle
3)Implementing encryption techniques with databases, including field- level encryption, transparent data encryption (TDE)
4) Integrating encryption with existing data pipelines and applications to ensure seamless data flow while manipulating security.
5)Managing encryption keys securely using dedicated key management systems( KMS).
6)Implementing key access controls and audits trails to monitor key usages and prevent unauthorized access.
7) Actively monitoring encryption systems for potential vulnerabilities and anomalies.
8)Performing regular security audits to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
9) Working closely with database administrators, application developers, and security teams to integrate encryption seamlessly into new.
10)Provide technical guidance on data encryptions best practices and troubleshooting issues related to encryption implementation.
