We're seeking a Site Safety Professional for solar construction sites to ensure safety and environmental compliance. In this role, you will oversee safety protocols, conduct inspections, manage incident investigations, and lead safety meetings. Your work will directly contribute to

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safety for all personnel on site and enforce OSHA and NFPA regulations.
- Lead Toolbox Talks and review JHAs/JSAs from subcontractors.
- Investigate near-miss incidents and accidents, ensuring proper documentation.
- Enforce SPCC and SWPPP compliance on solar sites.
- Conduct routine inspections and fire extinguisher checks.
What You Need to Succeed
- OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred.
- 2+ years of site safety experience, with a preference for solar experience.
- Familiarity with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and NFPA 70E.
- CPR/First Aid certified.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace, and mobile tech.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Preferred
- Solar-specific safety experience.
- Membership in safety organizations (ASSP, NFPA, BCSP, etc.).
- Safety certifications (CHST, ASP, CSP, MESH, C-MESH).
- HAZMAT experience and a safety-related degree.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods on uneven terrain.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical inspections.
