We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Restaurant Manager to support daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining service standards, and ensuring smooth restaurant performance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Support

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable performance.

  • Open and close the restaurant in accordance with company procedures.

  • Supervise dining room and kitchen activity to ensure quality service and food standards.

Staff Management

  • Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising restaurant staff.

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.

  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.

Customer Service

  • Ensure guests receive excellent service and a welcoming experience.

  • Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.

  • Monitor customer feedback and work with the General Manager to make improvements.

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and tracking usage.

  • Monitor food, beverage, and labor costs to support budget goals.

  • Ensure all storage, prep, and service areas comply with safety and sanitation standards.

Compliance & Standards

  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and brand guidelines.

  • Support quality assurance and uphold presentation and cleanliness standards.

Reporting & Administration

  • Assist in preparing daily and weekly reports on sales, labor, and expenses.

  • Help manage cash handling, deposits, and POS system oversight.

  • Participate in meetings and contribute to planning initiatives and staff development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in a restaurant or hospitality setting.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

  • Familiarity with restaurant POS systems and back-office tools.

  • Basic understanding of food safety, labor laws, and industry regulations.

  • Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training or degree is a plus.
