We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Restaurant Manager to support daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining service standards, and ensuring smooth restaurant performance. Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Support

Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable performance.

Open and close the restaurant in accordance with company procedures.

Supervise dining room and kitchen activity to ensure quality service and food standards.
Staff Management

Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising restaurant staff.

Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.

Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
Customer Service

Ensure guests receive excellent service and a welcoming experience.

Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.

Monitor customer feedback and work with the General Manager to make improvements.
Inventory & Cost Control

Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and tracking usage.

Monitor food, beverage, and labor costs to support budget goals.

Ensure all storage, prep, and service areas comply with safety and sanitation standards.
Compliance & Standards

Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Enforce company policies, procedures, and brand guidelines.

Support quality assurance and uphold presentation and cleanliness standards.
Reporting & Administration

Assist in preparing daily and weekly reports on sales, labor, and expenses.

Help manage cash handling, deposits, and POS system oversight.

Participate in meetings and contribute to planning initiatives and staff development.
Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in a restaurant or hospitality setting.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

Familiarity with restaurant POS systems and back-office tools.

Basic understanding of food safety, labor laws, and industry regulations.

Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training or degree is a plus.
