Our organization is currently looking for a full-time, board-certified Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our team at the VA Medical Center located in White River Junction, VT. This role involves providing comprehensive care and treatment in both inpatient and outpatient environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy in our dedicated infusion suite, managing any related reactions.
• Occasionally perform bone marrow aspirations and biopsies, primarily conducted by Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners, while supervising fellows from Dartmouth Health during these procedures.

Work Schedule

The working hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Although we have an urgent need for this role, the start date can be adjusted to accommodate the selected candidate.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Board certification in Hematology/Oncology.
• A full, active, and unrestricted medical license to practice in any state.
• Clinical, research, and educational qualifications suitable for an academic appointment at the Assistant Professor level at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College.
