Seaman Paper is searching for multi-trade maintenance technicians to join our 2nd shift team. This person will be responsible for industrial machinery upkeep, working alone or with a crew. They must be a well-rounded individual who can perform efficient work on a variety of equipment, executing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance. This person will maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery, consisting of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Requirements: - Mike Sullivan’s team
· Troubleshoot and Repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues on various production and facility equipment
· Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance work
· Familiarity with troubleshooting machines with PLC’s, VFD’s and Servo controls
· Machining skills desired
· Participates in special projects as needed (New Machine installations)
· Strong written, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
· Completion of an industrial maintenance apprenticeship program is a plus
· Experience with Industrial maintenance required; Corrective/breakdown experience preferred
· Thorough working knowledge of industrial equipment, its usage, and safety procedures
· Self-motivated, responsible and Safety Oriented individual.
· Learns and applies standard tools and techniques to solve problems.
· Demonstrates a positive “can-do” attitude.
· Takes responsibility for self-performance (Ability to manage time and responsibilities independently).
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results and meeting expectations.
· Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive and corrective maintenance requirements. Equipment and tools include motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, coupling and motor alignment, roller chain/sprockets alignment, conveyor systems, and production machines. Capable of following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications. Troubleshoots malfunctions and complies with NEC standards on wiring and installations.
· Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; and using precision measuring tools.
· Removes defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, and hand power tools.
· Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
· Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting actions, communicating irregularities, and scheduling correction of abnormalities.
· Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
· Communicate with production & maintenance team members.
· Conduct routine safety checks
· Conduct LOTO when working on equipment
· Utilization of CMMS system for all work orders
