Position Overview and Key Responsibilities:
\n
The Investment Associate position will play a key role in supporting the firm’s portfolio management and client service efforts.

Portfolio Trading:
\n
- \n
- Manage rebalancing and trading (ETF’s, mutual funds, and a small number of equities) in client portfolios.
- Use of auto rebalancer Eclipse and other technology to increase efficiency.
- Exercise discretion within defined model portfolio guidelines.
- Incorporate tax-efficient strategies to optimize client outcomes.
- Manage client cash flow needs, handling both distributions and contributions.
- Coordinate with custodians to ensure accurate execution of trades and portfolio updates.

Client Service and Reporting:

- Collaborate with advisors to develop customized investment plans.
- Create investment proposals for prospective clients.
- Develop recommendations for clients’ managed accounts.
- Create and maintain client investment policy statements.
- Monitor portfolio performance and audit client performance reporting.
- Assist with investment research and client communications.

Investment Oversight
\n

- Monitor client portfolios and investment models on an ongoing basis.
- Ensure consistency between portfolio strategy and execution.
- Help maintain the firm's investment policies, model documentation, and research library.
- Maintain compliance with regulations and internal policies in all portfolio activities.

Qualifications:
\n
- \n
- 2+ years of experience in trading, investment analysis or related role required.
- Superior technology skills: Microsoft, auto rebalancer Orion Eclipse, financial modeling.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Schwab Institutional, CRM Redtail, and Orion a plus.
- Strong understanding of passive / evidence-based investments (mutual funds & ETFs).
- Interest in trading, portfolio operations, financial markets, and investment management.
- Commitment to fiduciary principles and delivering exceptional client outcomes.

This position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $60,000–$80,000 base salary. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package.
