We are looking for a detail-oriented Fraud Prevention Data Analyst for a project in Plymouth, Massachusetts. In this role, you will contribute to the identification and analysis of fraudulent activities within the banking sector while supporting compliance efforts. This is a hybrid position requiring a strong analytical mindset and expertise in financial crime prevention.


Responsibilities:

• Analyze and assess suspicious activity reports to identify potential fraud and ensure compliance with regulations.

• Collaborate with the team to investigate anti-money laundering (AML) cases and implement preventive measures.

• Conduct thorough reviews of customer profiles as part of Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.

• Utilize data analysis tools to detect patterns and trends indicative of financial crime.

• Provide detailed reports and insights to support decision-making and enhance fraud prevention strategies.

• Work with internal systems to ensure accurate tracking and documentation of fraudulent claims.

• Coordinate with compliance and risk management teams to align processes with regulatory requirements.

• Develop and refine workflows to improve efficiency in fraud detection and reporting.

• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in financial crime prevention.

• Assist in the testing and optimization of ERP systems related to fraud prevention.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis with a focus on fraud prevention or compliance.
• Strong knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and procedures.
• Familiarity with Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols and financial crime investigations.
• Proficiency in analyzing suspicious activity reports and identifying fraudulent patterns.
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly Lawon ERP, is preferred.
• Ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
