Job Title: Cardiology Diagnostic Technician III
Location: Hyannis, MA
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technician III to support cardiology services by performing specimen collection and non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing. The role focuses on delivering accurate test results, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality clinical documentation in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection with proper patient identification
- Transport specimens following chain-of-custody and safety standards
- Conduct non-invasive cardiac testing including EKG, Holter monitoring, and stress tests
- Document patient data and test results in hospital systems
- Ensure compliance with infection control and PPE guidelines
- Support nursing units with specimen collection and testing needs
- Maintain inventory and manage clinical supplies
- Assist in training new staff and supporting quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy Certification (PBT)
- EKG Certification
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of cardiology testing procedures
- Ability to work independently and handle high-volume workloads
