Job Summary: Event Staff members play a key role in creating a fun, safe, and memorable experience for our guests during special events at Wilson Farm. This role involves customer service, event set-up and clean-up, crowd management, and supporting the events team with a wide variety of tasks. Ideal candidates are friendly, energetic, and reliable with a willingness to assist wherever needed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable event for all attendees. Hourly base rate of pay of $20.00, paid weekly in accordance with payroll schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests with a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
- Support the setup, execution, and breakdown of events (e.g., hayrides, tastings/samplings, festivals, holiday events).
- Assist with ticketing, registration, and crowd flow management as needed.
- Provide information about Wilson Farm products, services, and activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout event areas, including trash collection and sanitization stations.
- Assist with decorating and preparing event spaces according to seasonal themes.
- Monitor activities to ensure a safe environment for children and families, immediately reporting any hazards or issues to a supervisor.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the events team.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or event experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment in all weather conditions.
- Must be reliable and punctual, especially during peak event periods.
- Comfortable working with large crowds, including children and families.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs., and perform physical tasks related to event setup and teardown.
