BCForward is looking for Program Coordinator in Boston, MA 02114 (Hybrid)
Job Title: Program Coordinator
Duration: 06 Months Contract
Location: Boston, MA 02114 (Hybrid)
Pay: $21.41/hr on W2
STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct aggressive research via informational fairs workshops public events and other mediums to expand the reach of the VEET Department.
- Collaborate with other state/federal agencies and non-profit providers to identify resources and improvements to EET programs/services.
- Plan and support monthly tabling and outreach events with community partners.
- Assist with OnBase data entry and outreach to ensure referred veterans are being connected with the proper EET resources.
- Supports major annual events such as the SVC Welcome Event and VEET Conference as well as smaller events where needed.
- Respond to direct inquiries via the EET Referral System to provide information referrals and establish linkages with supportive services.
- Provide informational updates via email website and social network sites on services programs events and newsletters.
- Review website information relative to the VEET to ensure timely and accurate information on events and resources.
- Continue education and awareness of current and emerging employment/educational issues that impact veterans.
- Research other states veterans sites for relevant information in order to provide updates to the VEET webpage.
- Advertise and help recruit more businesses into the Veteran Ready Business Program.
- Establish additional networks and help market the VEET program across the Commonwealth.
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of state/federal veterans programs services and benefits.
• Knowledge of VA educational benefits and processes.
• Experience working with the veteran community or servicemembers.
Requires:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and problem solve independently.
- Strong skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Technically savvy utilizing various platforms.
- Proficiency with data entry.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Additional Notes:
- Potentially eligible for hybrid schedule. Schedule may include up to three days remote based on department needs and prior supervisor approval.
- Travel requirements - travel will be across Commonwealth for weekly community events as needed.
