In this crucial role, you will be responsible for expanding our product offerings, developing our sales team,
and collaborating with key stakeholders to maximize profitability and customer engagement.
Requirements:
Sales Growth & Product Development
- Identify opportunities to grow existing parts sales, cultivate new product lines, and expand our overall product portfolio throughout the ATG network.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and gross profits, identifying target products and customer segments for focused sales efforts.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and adjust strategies as needed.
Team Leadership & Training
- Oversee and manage the outside parts sales team.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training to all staff on product lines, and assist parts managers in the training of new hires.
- Hire, train, and mentor outside sales staff.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team to help them achieve their goals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Motivate the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Organize on site vendor trainings for both internal employees and external customers
Strategic Collaboration & Financial Management
- Work closely with vendors and inventory control to optimize acquisition costs for parts promotions.
- Analyze sales data, manage expenses, and ensure the profitability of the parts department.
- Collaborate with other departments, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Promotional & Marketing Initiatives
- Maintain and execute an annual promotional calendar.
- Collaborate with the E-commerce team to highlight and promote Excelerator and Inner Circle Rewards programs.
- Partner with the marketing department to develop impactful promotional and educational product campaigns.
- Develop and implement sales promotions and marketing initiatives.
Customer Relationship Management
- Assist the outside parts sales team in identifying sales opportunities and leads, and guide customers through our partnership programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Educate customers about products, pricing, availability, and features.
- Provide timely and accurate quotes and proposals.
- Monitor call reports and track sales progress.
Reporting & Reconciliation
- Reconcile and audit outside parts sales account lists.
- File monthly rebate reports to vendors
This role may involve travel to customer locations or other company facilities.
