Dean's Professional Services is now hiring a qualified, Cook - Grill to work for a Collegiate Facility in Franklin, MA.

The Cook - Grill is responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing, portioning, grilling, and presenting a variety of hot and cold food items for meal periods including Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events. This role supports daily foodservice operations by ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, portion, and cook food items according to recipes and production specifications.
- Operate grills, ovens, and related kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure food presentation meets established standards for quality and appearance.
- Assist with catered events and special functions as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation and equipment.
- Follow HACCP, safety, and company food handling policies.
- Support kitchen staff with food prep and service as required.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to operate grills, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely.
- Knowledge of grilling techniques and basic food preparation.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible and reliable with scheduled shifts.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Food Handler Certification
- 2+ years of experience as a cook or in a foodservice environment preferred.
Schedule:
- Monday: 11:00 AM - 8:30 PM (Grill)
- Tuesday - Thursday: 10:30 AM - 8:00 PM (Pizza)
- Friday: 11:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Grill)
Job Details:
- 8 hour shifts.
- Must be flexible.
- $21.60/hr + benefits
