Franklin Ford is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead and oversee our service department operations in Franklin, MA! The ideal candidate will drive customer satisfaction, manage a team of technicians, and ensure the efficient running of all service activities while maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily service department operations to achieve high customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Supervise, train, and motivate service technicians and support staff.
- Coordinate service schedules, repairs, and maintenance work to optimize workflow.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies.
- Resolve customer concerns and manage service-related communications efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to support dealership goals and customer retention.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Manager or similar role within the automotive service industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and diagnostic systems.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with dealership management software and related tools.
- Valid driver’s license and understanding of local automotive regulations.
