Job DescriptionMaterial Handler I - Contract, Hiring Now
The Material Handler I position is located in the Merrimack, NH area and is a contract role. This company is known for its commitment to quality and compliance in the regulated medical manufacturing industry, ensuring that all operations meet stringent standards.

Shift of the Material Handler I:
6:00am - 3:30pm (9/80 Schedule)
Pay Rate of the Material Handler I:
$22.00 - $23.00/hr
Responsibilities of the Material Handler I:
- Accurately pick, stage, issue, deliver, and pack material to manufacturing lines in accordance with work orders and production schedules.
- Perform ERP/MRP transactions for material movement, inventory adjustments, and work order fulfillment.
- Support cycle counting, physical inventory, and audit requirements to maintain high inventory accuracy.
- Ensure proper material labeling, traceability, and storage in compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and GMP standards.
- Load, unload, store, retrieve, and transport materials using pallet jacks, dollies, forklifts, or similar equipment.
Qualifications of the Material Handler I:
- High school diploma or equivalent; ability to understand and use commercial English and basic mathematics.
- Familiarity with material handling documents, shipping/receiving procedures, and warehouse operations.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, packing slips, receipt travelers, and technical labels.
- 1–2 years of material handling, inventory, warehouse, or shipping/receiving experience.
- Basic computer skills; experience with ERP/MRP systems, RFID scanning equipment, and Excel/MS Office a plus.
