We’re seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Line Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld—all while working in a fast-paced environment. Weekends are required, but as our hot food line closes in the early afternoon you will have your afternoon/evenings free.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Ensure plates are presented properly and consistently
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation regulations
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
- Assist with inventory and restocking as needed
- Support team members during peak hours
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook
- Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Food Handler certification is a plus
- Willingness to work weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay is commensurate with experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bending, squatting, kneeling, and standing for long periods is required
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Requires tasting and a sense of smell
- Using powered meat slicers, knives, and other sharp objects safely and carefully
Interpersonal skills necessary to keep a healthy work environment with co-workers
