We are a busy, full-service transportation company looking for a dedicated Utility Person to assist our Team in maintaining our vast fleet and operation. This is a critical, year-round position essential to our daily operations, during our high season the schedule will be Thursday-Monday. This may change during the off season.
Key Responsibilities
- Fleet Readiness: Perform regular, thorough cleaning of our diverse fleet, including sedans, SUVs, buses, motor coaches, and transit vans. This involves interior work (vacuuming, seat cleaning) and exterior washing. Performing regular vehicle spot checks in the field of our NEMT vehicles for equipment and compliance as assigned.
- Vehicle Readiness: Ensure all vehicles are fully fueled and Fluids are checked (oil, washer fluid, etc.).
- Vehicle Repositioning: Perform regular repositioning of fleet vehicles as needed.
- Seasonal Support: Additional hours and overtime opportunity for qualified candidates to serve as a member of our Storm Team, including shoveling, sanding, and clearing snow from vehicles and company grounds to ensure safe operation during winter weather.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: Starting at $22 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.
- Reviews/Raises: 90-day performance review with potential merit raises thereafter.
