Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Clerk to join our client's team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles who enjoys working with financial data, preparing reports, and supporting month-end processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Maintain and track fixed assets and lease accounting
• Work within the general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Analyze financial statements and generate reports for internal use
• Review financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
• Support preparation of various accounting and financial reports
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized financial records
• Collaborate with team members while also managing independent tasks

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of accounting or finance experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience working with financial statements and reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software systems

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data connections and complex formulas
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
