We are looking for a Full-Time Social Media Manager to join our growing team and lead Goodhue Boat Company’s social media presence across multiple locations and brands. This role will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing day-to-day social execution, and helping bring the Goodhue lifestyle to life online.
Position Overview
As part of a fast-paced marketing team, you’ll work closely with the Marketing Director and Marketing & Events Manager to create content that supports boat sales, rentals, service, boat club, events, and overall brand awareness. In addition to managing social media execution within New England markets, this role will also help guide and oversee content direction for locations outside of New England to ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and posting strategy company-wide.
Primary Responsibilities
Content Creation: Capture and create photo/video content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms across multiple locations.
Social Media Management: Plan, schedule, publish, and monitor social media content calendars for both corporate and local channels.
Video & Reel Production: Film and edit short-form video content including walkthroughs, event coverage, educational content, trends, and lifestyle storytelling.
Community Engagement: Monitor comments, messages, reviews, and social engagement to help build strong relationships with customers and followers.
Brand Storytelling: Help showcase the boating lifestyle while maintaining Goodhue’s premium, approachable, and family-oriented brand voice.
Trend & Platform Awareness: Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content opportunities to keep channels fresh and engaging.
Campaign Support: Collaborate with the marketing team on promotions, campaigns, launches, events, and seasonal initiatives.
On-Site Coverage: Attend boat shows, events, customer experiences, and dealership activities to capture real-time content.
Performance Tracking: Monitor content performance and provide insights/recommendations to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, service, and operations teams to identify content opportunities and highlight customer experiences.
Multi-Location Social Oversight: Provide guidance and support to out-of-region locations on content strategy, posting cadence, brand standards, and platform best practices to ensure consistency across all Goodhue social channels.
Required Qualifications
· 2–4 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
· Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and social media best practices.
· Experience shooting and editing content for Reels, TikTok, and short-form video platforms.
· Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar editing/design tools.
· Strong communication and storytelling skills.
· Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple locations, priorities, and deadlines.
· Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Willingness to travel between locations and attend occasional weekend events/boat shows.
· Passion for boating, lifestyle brands, or outdoor recreation is a plus.
· Experience managing or coordinating social media across multiple locations or brands preferred.
· Ability to guide and collaborate with remote teams while maintaining brand consistency across markets.
Work Schedule
· Monday–Friday
· Weekends as needed.
· Flexible scheduling with some required events.
