Schedule

Fridays: Morning Shift (AM)

Weekends: Every Other Weekend (AM Shift)
Key Responsibilities

Culinary Preparation: Prepare, cook, and present high-quality meals according to recipes, dietary guidelines, and healthcare standards.

Flavor & Technique: Utilize diverse cooking methods—including baking, roasting, grilling, and frying—to deliver appetizing meals.

Plating & Presentation: Plate dishes artfully to ensure an appealing dining experience for our residents.

Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a clean, organized work station and adhere strictly to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with dietary aides and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, efficient meal services.
Qualifications

Experience: 1+ year of food service or commercial cooking experience preferred (healthcare/senior living experience is a plus!).

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Skills: Ability to follow standardized recipes, manage time effectively during busy meal services, and work well in a team environment.

Safety: Knowledge of food safety protocols and standard kitchen safety practices.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry up to 50 lbs safely.
