Diesel Mechanic for heavy Equipment - $36.90/hour

Responsibilities:

• Working with heavy equipment
• Troubleshoot hydraulic issues and electrical problems
• Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
• Performs inspections, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
• Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Completes required paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
• Performs maintenance related work as required.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Repair diesel engines
• Have a lift in garage

Qualifications:

• Previous diesel experience required
• Proficiency in vehicle and equipment diagnosis and repair
• Own personal tools

Hours are:

Monday through Friday – First shift

Pay is up to $36.90/hour based on experience

Pay in May will increase to $37.90
