Customer Support Representative

Location: East Braintree, MA (Onsite)
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm
Pay Rate: Up to $20.00/hr to start
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM – 4:45 PM (30-minute lunch) | Friday 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM


Position Summary

A growing organization is seeking two Customer Support Representatives to serve as the primary point of contact for customers. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage orders and resolve inquiries in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in customer support, preferably in a product- or sales-driven setting involving technical or consumer goods.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers via phone and email
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to products, orders, and service needs
  • Process incoming orders with accuracy, including product selection, pricing, and delivery details
  • Prepare customer quotes and manage full order lifecycle from entry to completion
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as shipping, finance, and quality assurance to resolve customer issues
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and order history
  • Support updates and maintenance of product or service knowledge resources
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends and prepare basic reporting
  • Assist with general administrative and clerical tasks as needed


Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in a customer service or support role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional and effective phone and email communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Experience with ERP or order management systems preferred
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
