Purchasing Assistant
Day to Day
- Assist in cleaning up PO logs
- Assist in SIC’s that are piling up.
- Work on tracking order statuses and updating requesters.
- Log testing PO’s that are issued
- Contact vendors to help attaining manufacturing addresses to close gaps in ASL
Key Activities/Responsibilities
- Assist in cleaning up Purchase Order log in Smartsheets. Reaching out to requestors to validate receipt of orders/services and developing sustainable approach to PO receipting.
- Assist in triaging and actioning Supplier Initiated Changes (SIC). This would include identifying changes that should be addressed, creating actions in MasterControl system, and following up with responsible parties.
- Supporting tracking Purchase Order statuses and updating requesters.
- Contact vendors to help attaining manufacturing addresses to close gaps in our Approved Supplier List (ASL).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
- Good written communication skill
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) experience is helpful, but we could train the right candidate
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
