We are looking for a warm, welcoming, and well-organized Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. This role is central to creating a memorable dining experience by managing reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow. The ideal candidate is friendly, polished, and thrives in a busy hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities

Guest Reception

Greet all guests promptly and courteously upon arrival.

Provide accurate wait time estimates and escort guests to their tables.

Answer phones professionally and manage reservations using the booking system.

Seating & Flow Management

Coordinate the seating chart and maintain even server rotation.

Monitor the dining room to ensure tables are turned efficiently and guests are seated promptly.

Communicate with the kitchen and serving staff to manage table availability.

Customer Service

Respond to guest inquiries and accommodate special requests when possible.

Handle complaints or concerns with professionalism and involve management as needed.

Maintain a clean, tidy, and inviting reception and waiting area.

Administrative & Coordination

Record guest preferences and maintain reservation logs or notes.

Prepare menus, promotional materials, or event flyers for guests when applicable.

Support the front-of-house team with light duties during peak times.

Requirements

Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.

Friendly, professional, and confident with excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy) is a plus.

Must be punctual, well-groomed, and team-oriented.
