Compensation: $150K - $250K base DOE plus equity

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Integrated Photonics Product Engineer to lead the development and integration of innovative photonics products. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving product design, ensuring optimal performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring cutting-edge photonics solutions to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of integrated photonics products, focusing on optical packaging and ensuring product performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and optimize modulator and optoelectronic components for various applications.
- Conduct high-speed RF design and analysis to support product development and integration.
- Utilize thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN) technology in product development and implement best practices for manufacturing and integration.
- Participate in product testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to streamline production processes and ensure high-quality product output.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in integrated photonics product development and engineering.
- Strong knowledge of integrated photonics, optical packaging, and photonics product development processes.
- Experience with modulators, optoelectronics, and thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN) technology.
- Proficiency in high-speed RF design and analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
