Member Account Generalist
Location: Concord, NH | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Starting Pay Range: $23.69–$26.08/hour | Band H Full Range: $23.69–$35.55/hour
Are you detail-oriented and passionate about public service? Join the New Hampshire Retirement System (NHRS) as a Member Account Generalist—a critical role that ensures our members’ retirement data is accurate and complete.
In this position, you'll review and verify personal and financial information, calculate benefit estimates, process refunds and rollovers, and help members navigate service credit purchases and contributions. You’ll also interpret policies and statutes, troubleshoot data issues, and support the financial integrity of member accounts.
What You’ll Do:

Review and reconcile member data from employers and internal records

Calculate refunds, rollovers, and service credit purchases

Interpret NH retirement laws, rules, and procedures

Support benefit processing and member communications

Collaborate with internal teams and assist in continuous improvement
What You Bring:

4+ years of experience in accounting, benefit processing, or a related field

Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Bachelor’s degree in business, public admin, or related field preferred
