Job Title: Stringer/Racker
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00am - 3:45pm)

Job Summary:
The Stringer/Racker is responsible for preparing, hanging, and securing parts onto racks or fixtures for processing, such as plating, anodizing, painting, or coating. This role ensures parts are handled carefully to maintain quality standards and production efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and Hang Parts: Secure parts onto racks, hooks, or fixtures according to work orders and process requirements.
• Inspect for Quality: Visually check parts for defects, contamination, or damage before and after processing.
• Maintain Equipment: Keep racks, hooks, and tools clean, organized, and in good working condition.
• Record Production Data: Document quantities, part numbers, and any non-conformances on work orders or tracking sheets.
• Assist in Unracking: Remove finished parts carefully to prevent damage, and prepare them for the next stage of production.
• Follow Safety Procedures: Wear required PPE, follow safe lifting techniques, and comply with all workplace safety rules.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting
• Attention to detail and ability to spot defects.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Physical ability to stand/sit for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
