This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our company's human resources functions, support employee engagement, compliance, and organizational growth. The position will be remote to start while we recruit for our production staff. Work hours can be negotiated between the candidate and Streamline Glass and will grow as the needs of the company grow. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering a positive workplace environment.

As an early-stage company, this role will give you the opportunity to assist the team in other areas such as accounting or data entry. Initially, this role will primarily be remote while the hiring of production staff begins to occur.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Administer employee relations programs, addressing employee concerns and fostering a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are current and effectively communicated.
- Oversee payroll processing, benefit administration, and leave management.
- Support performance management initiatives, including appraisals and development plans.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
- Assist in organizing training sessions, workshops, and company events.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and staff on HR policies and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or 2-5 years' experience in Human Resource.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar HR role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft 365.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
