About the Role:
Brandy Brow Auto Parts Inc is looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Dismantler to join our team in Plaistow, NH! This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in our parts recovery operation, helping customers find the components they need while keeping our inventory running smoothly. If you love working with vehicles and have a knack for taking things apart, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Safely dismantle end-of-life and salvage vehicles to recover usable parts and components
- Identify, tag, and catalog automotive parts for inventory management
- Use hand and power tools to remove engines, transmissions, body panels, and other components
- Inspect and grade recovered parts for quality and resale value
- Drain and properly dispose of fluids including oil, coolant, and fuel in compliance with environmental regulations
- Assist customers and staff in locating and pulling specific parts as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the yard and shop
Requirements:
- Prior experience in automotive dismantling, salvage yard operations, or auto mechanics preferred
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, drivetrains, and electrical components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid driver's license preferred
