POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing daily movement and tracking of all Game Creek Video Assets. The primary focus is shipment fulfillment that is effective and cost efficient for the company. Additional responsibilities include communicating directly and routinely with internal customers to develop and execute plans that fulfill all client requirements while also ensuring that all internal systems reflect inventory levels and show-related information in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Assets are proactively managed for assigned mobile units and shows
  • All outbound shipments processed by end of business day in which scheduled
  • Management of inbound equipment by end of business day received
  • Accurate inventory control across systems and physical workspace
  • Proactive communication with internal and external customers


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support to shipping fulfillment process by safely assisting in the management, movement, and tracking of assigned Game Creek Video assets, including but not limited to: cameras, lens, graphics, miscellaneous audio and video equipment, and cable
  • Prepare shipments of equipment to trucks in the field to satisfy show requirements; track SOS, UPS, and FedEx shipments to ensure successful delivery
  • Utilize software programs during Receiving process (i.e. inventory system, Mantis system, SpendMap, QuickBooks) to accurately receive and track inventory, including new bar code application
  • Work within inventory system to ensure accuracy of all equipment barcodes, including mobile unit activity resulting from truck-to-truck transfers
  • Work within equipment repair system to update shipping and receiving info where applicable; assist with returning equipment to the shop in participation with the in-house engineering team
  • Proactively communicate directly and routinely with internal customers (i.e. Operations, Engineering, Equipment Repair) develop and execute plans that fulfill client requirements
  • Assist Logistics department with workflow changes to enable shop-supplied equipment to be tracked more efficiently
  • Organize and regularly scan shop inventory once every three weeks
  • Keep mobile unit inventory carnets up-to-date for shows in Canada, Mexico, and abroad
  • Attend and contribute to bi-weekly meetings with cross-functonal business partners
  • Provide after hours support as needed during weekends and other on-call designated periods
  • Travel to assigned events to assist with inventory control, compound build up and compound breakdown.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience regarding organization and accuracy of physical equipment in additional to systems data; must be detail-oriented
  • Ability to receive and process incoming and outgoing inventory in the field shop, while also managing computer systems, email, and documentation in an office setting
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; communicate pertinent inventory control and logistics-related information clearly, accurately, and timely
  • Ability to use active listening, initiative, and problem-solving to assist in decision-making that meets the best interests of the company
  • Ability to manage a fluctuating workload with competing priorities in a constant pressure and deadline-driven environment
  • Commitment to protection and maintenance of company assets and related property
  • Safety-minded; ability to follow safety rules, regulations, and procedures in all aspects of shop operations
  • Demonstrate accountability by taking full ownership in all work assigned
  • Self-motivated personality with exceptional attendance and punctuality
  • Excellent customer service orientation with all colleagues, clients, and vendors


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s Degree required; BA/BS preferred
  • 1-2+ years of professional work experience preferred; logistics, inventory control, or shop experience is a plus
  • General knowledge of broadcasting equipment, hardware, and software is a plus
  • Proficient computer skills, including Google Workspace and Excel
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (6-8 shows per year)
  • Ability to respond to client and internal requests during nights and weekends


PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to walk or stand up to 8 hours at a time
  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel on both knees, and climb stairs frequently
  • Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs. frequently
  • Ability to carry 50 lbs. a distance of 50 feet occasionally
  • Ability to pinch (10 lbs.) and grip (50 lbs.) related broadcast equipment
  • Must be able to maintain a position within a space 3.5 - 4 feet tall up to 1 minute occasionally
  • Ability to horizontally transfer 40 lbs. on a push-pull cart up to 50 feet
  • Ability to vertically transfer 50 lbs. on a push-pull system with upper extremities only from 4.5 – 6 feet
  • Ability to ascend and descend a ladder
