Position conducts mechanical repair and maintenance work on a variety of municipal vehicles including construction equipment, light and heavy trucks, small engines and related equipment; performs other directly related work as required including winter operations and works under the Public Works Director.

Comprehensive benefits package. Includes Health Insurance, NH Retirement System, Paid Holidays, Vacation, Sick, Employee paid Dental, Short and Long term disability. 4- 10hr work days through summer months.

Qualifications: Graduation from High School, supplemented by training in heavy truck repair; and considerable experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work.

Valid New Hampshire CDL B license required within 6 months of hire; must have a DOT medical card and pass a pre employment drug screen; New Hampshire Motor Vehicle Inspection License, various ASE Certifications and welding background preferred.
