We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee the financial operations of our client's organization. This role requires a strong background in accounting principles and the ability to manage processes such as accounts payable, payroll, and month-end close. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to improving financial accuracy and efficiency and be able to mentor, coach and train staff.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and payroll processes.
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Supervise the preparation of account analyses to support decision-making and reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting procedures and improve efficiency.
• Train and mentor team members to develop their skills and enhance overall productivity.
• Proven experience in accounting management or a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger processes.
• Expertise in month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
