\n\nQualifications / Job Requirements\n

    \n
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts (MA)\n
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical OB experience (Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Newborn Nursery) — maternal-newborn / perinatal nursing experience preferred\n
  • Experience in antenatal and postpartum environments preferred\n
  • Ability to float between antenatal, postpartum, and newborn units as needed (OB Float Pool)\n
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)\n
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills\n

\n\nKey Responsibilities\n

  • Provide compassionate postpartum care to mothers and newborns as a postpartum RN and travel nurse\n
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care for postpartum and newborn patients\n
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the interdisciplinary healthcare team\n
  • Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, and discharge planning\n
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal maternal and newborn outcomes\n
  • Float to antenatal or postpartum units based on facility needs within the OB Float Pool\n
