Job Responsibilities
- Assist walk-in customers with parts purchases
- Take customer orders and answer questions via phone, computer and in person.
- Responsible for keeping track of inventory, and ordering and purchasing parts for customers.
- Place orders for parts paying close attention to detail to ensure the order is accurate and complete.
- Take service technicians' orders for parts.
- Recommend related parts and accessories, which may be required for a job.
- Notify the service department when special parts or back-ordered parts are received.
- Document and submit special order requests.
- Follow-up with customers on parts order status.
- Pull stocked and special-order parts for customers, work orders, internal sale.
- Work with Parts Manager as needed to locate parts and on specialty orders and requests.
- Complete sale of parts by entering sales into system.
- Maintain accurate inventory and update inventory control systems to replenish stock when needed.
- Place two stock orders a week and rotate stock
- Restock inventory when new shipments arrive.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and secure work environment.
- Supply cost of parts information on repair orders.
- Must possess the ability to work with several customers at one time while maintaining individual customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Some essentials to be qualified
- 1-2 years’ experience in parts or service, preferably in construction equipment or automotive/truck industry.
- Communicate effectively via phone with customers, required
- Communicate effectively with technicians and customers to understand their needs and meet their requests.
- Strong data entry and telephone skills.
- Strong customer service skills and abilities.
- A strong work ethic including being punctual and dependable.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job including lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing, bending, reaching, crouching, etc.)
- Satisfactory results of a criminal background screening

- Highly Sought After Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm! No weekends!
- Work Location: Bobcat of Boston, 20 Concord Street, North Reading, MA
- All Our Locations: Bobcat of New Hampshire (Chichester, NH and Hudson, NH), Bobcat of Cape Cod (Bourne, MA), Bobcat of South Shore (Bridgewater, MA) and Bobcat of Boston (North Reading, MA)
- Pay: competitive hourly rate based on experience (entry-level through advanced encouraged to apply). Remember, great benefits are also part of your total compensation.
- Benefits enrollment is first of month following 30 days of employment.
