Construction Surveyor/survey crew chief

· Have 3-5 years of experience as a survey crew chief working in areas like construction

· layout and as-builts.

· Experience utilizing Leica Robotic Total Station

· Experience using levels, line lasers, and hand measuring tools to accurately retrieve measurements in the field and then producing accurate as-built style drawings and sketches for our detailers to utilize in the design process of items.

· Strong communication skills

· Strong analytical skills in the field.

· Attention to detail and a desire to produce high quality, accurate, and detailed drawings from all field measurements, whether in AutoCAD or on paper.

The Surveyor will have most, if not all, of these requirements:

· Experience with heavy construction jobs - particularly steel construction - is preferred but not required.

· Experience with AutoCAD is preferred

· Experience with Leica 3D Scanner BLK360 is a plus

· Experience running Carlson Software and Data Collectors
