We are seeking a personable and reliable hospitality professional to deliver a welcoming guest experience in a fast-paced food and beverage environment. This role combines attentive table service with skilled beverage preparation, requiring strong communication, efficiency, and a commitment to quality service.
What You’ll Do
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with recipes, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
- Deliver food and drinks promptly while maintaining awareness of guest needs.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and respond to questions or concerns professionally.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service areas, and the bar throughout the shift.
- Restock supplies, glassware, and service items as needed.
- Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with team members to support smooth operations and a positive guest experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in bartending, serving, or a similar hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy, guest-focused environment.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with cash and payment processing.
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices.
- Ability to remain organized, professional, and composed under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must meet any age or licensing requirements applicable to alcohol service in the local jurisdiction.
- On-call banquet staff
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with point-of-sale systems.
- Food handler or alcohol service certification, where required or preferred.
- Familiarity with menu items, craft cocktails, or specialty beverages.
