As a Financial Paraplanner, youll play a key role in helping clients achieve financial clarity and confidence through thoughtful planning and collaboration.


Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Financial Paraplanner to support our advisory team. This role is responsible for gathering data, preparing financial plans, analyzing financial information, and working closely with advisors to deliver customized recommendations. You'll serve as a critical bridge between departments and play a major part in enhancing the client experience.


Key Responsibilities


Daily Tasks:

  • Collaborate with Advisors to review client planning engagements
  • Complete compliance documents for onboarding, recommendations, and transactions
  • Organize and analyze client financial data
  • Enter data into eMoney and other planning software
  • Communicate with clients to collect or clarify information
  • Draft financial recommendations and review with Advisors
  • Request annuity and insurance quotes, prepare fact sheets
  • Prepare meeting agendas and client-facing materials
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure clear and timely communication

Weekly Tasks:

  • Prepare case review agendas for planning team meetings
  • Maintain accurate and secure client records
  • Collaborate with the client service team to ensure readiness for client meetings
  • Coordinate with paraplanners on upcoming casework

Monthly & Quarterly Tasks:

  • Review maturing items and coordinate action plans
  • Update processes and procedures as needed
  • Participate in quarterly check-ins and marketing collaboration
  • Assist with Pontera rebalancing

Occasional/As Needed:

  • Proactively follow up with clients on outstanding items
  • Provide administrative coverage when needed
  • Participate in internal team collaboration initiatives

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors degree OR equivalent financial industry experience
  • Minimum 2 year of experience in a financial services environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Series 65/66 license

Preferred:

  • Experience with eMoney, Redtail, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with financial planning concepts: retirement, tax, estate, and investment planning
  • Client-centric mindset with a strong attention to detail
  • Desire to grow in a career toward financial advising or planning

Salary: based on experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday in 9-5 pm in Office
Location: Manchester (headquarters) Andover (satellite office)
