We’re hiring a full-time Senior Accountant, Grants & Federal Reporting for our Finance & Accounting Division.

As a Senior Accountant, you will drive key accounting functions that contribute to our mission. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain highly accurate grant general ledger (GL) and reporting. Perform monthly GL account reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly cost analysis of federal grants and programs as well as the Annual Cost Allocation Plan.
  • Compile annual and ad-hoc federal financial reports for federal submission and review by independent auditors.
  • Perform accounting functions to record grant revenues and expenditures. Produce accurate and timely management status reports, ensuring and documenting compliance with all grant financial requirements.
  • Monitor activity for assigned grant programs, perform financial analysis, budget reports, and reconcile assigned GL accounts.

Your experience, skills, and education should include:

  • Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and experience.
  • Strong ability to leverage computerized financial and accounting systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Government or fund accounting included in accounting coursework preferred or related certifications such as the NH Government Accounting Certificate.
  • Eight to Nine years relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.

Starting Pay: $59,700 - $73,000, dependent on relevant experience
